His name is Fran, I have been going out with him for two years. He's tall and slim, but it's because he does a lot of sport, and so he's strong. From my point of view he's good-looking. He has spiky and brown hair. I don't know why but he usually gets a sad face, but nevertheless he isn't sad. He has a lovely dimple in his face, I like it so much. He has green and small eyes that change color depending on the season. On the other hand, he's so brave with everything, and I like it so much because it's so good TO have a person near you like him. He's also careless, and friendly. I love from him that he's shy and sympathetic.

Edith Wharthon

I've read a book of Edith Wharthon which is divided in two parts, each part is a fragment of one of her books. Edith Wharton was born on 24 January 1862 in New York, and died in Francia on 11 August 1937. She was a american writer and designer. She wrote around 33 novels and she introduced in her works irony, and the differents types of social classes. The first part of the book is called "Roman Fever" and is about two friends whose husbands dead years ago and they were always together. This two women, two sofisticaded women were situated in a cafeteria in Rome, a place which their love. Suddenly they start to talk about an illness that one of them has, and the other woman said her that it was because years ago she was waiting the man who they will be married to. The second part of the book is calles "the letter" and is situated in Italy. A man who loves donna Candida, a beautiful girl without dad and brother, suffer because she loves other boy who battle for his Italy. The brother of this girl dead in the war and her mother and her don't recived any letter from him. After a few years this man find the letter which never arrived to him family and he gives to donna Candida who burned it. The narrator of this novel is in first person and he's the man that loves donna Candida. I think that it are very good books, with a difficult language to understand but so clearly the novel. Personally I like most "Roman Fever" because of the argument.

Are you for or against using animals for medical research?

At the moment, it is that it's a reality nowadays, scientifics use animals to taste some products, or some cures that it would be efficient to many people in the future. This should be forbidden, at least in this country. One of the arguments for the practice with animals it is because if you try with them scientifics do not kill people in the case that the cure ins't effective. When you try these things with animals you may kill them but maybe it's better to kill an animal and not a person. On the other hand, I think that this isn't good at all, because animals don't have to die for these things that are going to be good things for humans, but not to animals. Scientifics might try products like shampoo with other things, but not killing animals like rabbits when they taste on it. All in all I am not in favour of this, but I reckon that if you don't taste things in animals you aren't going to know the reactions that these products are going to have in humans. I couldn't change this but I would like to invent another way to taste these things without killing innocent animals.

2000

2000-2001 was a decade where happened a lot of things, some of them positive and some of them not at all. In this period of time the health care a reform that it was good to the people. A bit later, was the iPod invented by apple, and it became very important to everybody, and everybody wants one of it. As there were very positive events, also happened ones like the earthquake in Chile just two months after Haiti's in whicha lot of people died .In this decade was also the hurricane Katrina, which destroyed a bit part of houses and parks in some places. In the world of music singers like Malanga,the Bloodhound Gang, Carlos Vives and a lot more, were very important in this period with songs like "The bad touch", "Fruta fresca","Dejala" and so on. There were very popular films like Gladiator (2000), Avatar (2009), Million dolar baby (2004) these were some of the most important films of this decade. The fashion of this decade was similar of the nowadays fashion, but with bigger dresses, with big jeans, and with very funny glasses. By the end of the decade, there were new inventions that change the world as I said before, iPod, Wikipedia, that was a revolution for the humanity because you could search everything you need to know, and this helped a lot of people. Google maps was invented in this period also and was incredible because you could see each part of the world. One of the more memorable events was the dead of Michael Jackson "the king of pop", anybody could imagine this and nowadays we continue remember him, because he was a very important people in the world of the music.

Weakness and strenghts

Of the previous year I liked that I get good marks in english, because I studied a bit. I didn't like that including me, everybody was talking in class and we couldn't continue well the lesson. I like the classmates that I have but we speak a lot. I would be like to continue this year at the same way but without speaking so much and then we will obtain better marks.

My summer

This summer like all years I went to the beach. In summer I live in Mar de Cristal, and I meet there friends, I play, I get the bike.. In July I went to Mojacar and I srayed there for 3 days in a hotel. On 31 august I come back to Cartagena to prepare the things to the travel to France. I stayed in Paris for 5 days in Disneyland visiting the park, and this was my summer

"Brújulas que buscan sonrisas perdidas"

I'd like to recommend "Brújulas que buscan sonrisas perdidas". This book was written by Albert Espinosa. The book is about a men and his father, that after many years, the man goes back to his house to take car of his father ill this cancer and alzheimer. The things I liked most is that a person can change because of the circunstances. It is a book to think about the life and you learn a to from it. The book has a very good plot because the man (that before his wife died)leaves his daughters to take care of his ill father. All in all I think that this is one of the best books that I've ever read, and it is very beautiful. I wouldn't change any part of it because this story, there charecters and this final are perfect to complete this story and teach you to value more life.
